A fishhook-shaped finding used to make earrings. The hook end passes through the pierced ear, while an ornament hangs from the other end. Also known as an earwire, French wire or French ear wire. Niya Melodie Accessories uses 14k gold filled or vermeil for earwires.

As I look back at the expressive expressionlessness of this picture of myself in Negril, Jamaica, last July, it puts me in comfortable place. A place where Im not bound to anything but the creativity of my mind and hands and the glass, pearls, feathers and shells that bind it all together.

So far I have 5 brand new pair of earrings that I am working on, and to make them, imagine them, and look at them I feel free.... Stay tuned to see the result of that feeling....

I met with Get Janet, stylist, and owner of Fashionably Yours, and it would seem that the fruits of my free spirit yesterday, will be seen sooner than later! When I went in I expected to see some really great stuff at reasonable prices. Im glad to say I saw some really great stuff at really great prices! I'm talking $20-$40 as the average price range, for name brand items!!

FY carries loads of really cute summer dresses, some fantastic vintage purses, and unusually nice "one-off-rare-kinda-sorta-ya-I-think-I-like-it" pieces!
